Frinton's attractions:

Frinton Greensward

A long clean greensward,
Shopping in Connaught Avenue (in the past dubbed the "Bond Street" of East Anglia.),
Immaculately clean sandy beaches, historic tree lined avenues,
Coastal walks and the Frinton summer theatre.

Often known for its numerous Churches and lack of pubs (there is only 1, which was given the go ahead in 2000) this is a quiet seaside town.
Also famous for "The Frinton Gates", a recent battle to keep the landmark at Frinton's entrance has now been lost.
The battle to save the old Frinton railway crossing gates and prevent their replacement with new electronic crossing gates was lost in April 2009 when the old gates were removed and work was completed on the new crossing.
The railway gates have often been referred to as a status divide, living "inside the gates" supposedly having more status than living "outside the gates".
The sea front is still lined by many Victorian style beach huts,
reminiscent of the days when the town was a favourite retreat for the aristocracy and even royalty.

Through the years the club has produced players that have gone onto to play for England at all levels and the National League is scattered with former Tendring Players. Most years the England Cadets and Juniors Men's squads have a handful of Tendring players.
